I'm such a ning nong, I always thought the Buddha in the tree roots was at Angkor Wat...of course I couldn't find it when we visited last year. On returning home I realised it's at Ayuthaya! I obviously missed it the first time I visited, maybe this time ;)
This is interesting! About the life of Pi- i see you like to read scary stories. This is more of a slow, boy-finding-his-way-in-a-tough-situation-kind of story. Gives you a lot of opportunities to think about spirituality while not forcing any claims. Very interesting, sometimes sad, with bits of horror thrown into in it. I would read it once, atleast. But if you are going to skip, watch the movie for sure.
Good Pictures!
ReplyDeletethank you :)
